Hasrat – An unfulfilled Desire
Through gripping narrative, Pakistani drama serials frequently bring societal challenges and human emotions to light. Hasrat is no different when it debuts on HUM Television on May 11, 2022. Produced by Malik Khuda Baksh and Momina Duraid Productions, the drama explores the intricate network of relationships and desires within a family.
Main Plot Of the Drama :
At the heart of Hasrat is a tense relationship between sisters. Emab’s a nice, nice girl, but her devious and selfish sister Noor often tries to destroy her. Because of Noor’s desire to steal everything from Emab, in particular her love interest Junaid, the plot is moving forward.
Character’s and Their Roles :
Noor the Antagonist : Noor, played by Mishal Khan, is the main enemy in this game. She’s conceited and cunning, and she’s constantly plotting to achieve her goals, even at the expense of the people around her. Viewers love to loathe Noor because of the way his actions drive the drama’s problems.
Emab the compassionate sister : The Emab of Azekah Daniel’s a total contrast to light. She’s kind and nice, although she’s often the victim. Of light plots. Because of her affection for her cousin Junaid and her moral sensitivity, Emab is a fascinating and accessible character.
Junaid the Love Intrest : Junaid, played by Fahad Sheikh, is attracted to Emab andentangles himself in her rivalry with the other sisters. His personality makes the love triangle more complicated, and his connection to Emab emphasises its central concept of unfinished wishes.

Mrs. Farooqui (Fazila Qazi): Parents looking for a good match for their kids’ wives.
The Theme and Performances :
Regret reveals the consequences of the lack of expectations and the extent to which people will go in order to achieve their goals. It examines the question of betrayal, envy, and the impact of selfishness on family dynamics. The actors do a good job; the depiction of Noor by Mishal Khan is particularly striking for its subtlety and passion. Nevertheless, some critics believe Azika Daniel’s portrayal of Emab does not adequately reflect the challenges she faces as a character.
A mixed Reaction Which Makes it Questionable Should we watch or not?
The audience has had conflicting feelings about Hasrat. Some critiqued the way some characters were handled and the way the tale was resolved overall, while many others applauded the compelling plot and excellent performances. The unjust sentencing of some characters—particularly Atiya, who is portrayed as innocent and devout—is a significant critique of Hasrat. Furthermore, others think that Noor’s character’s deeds did not have a significant enough impact to satisfy viewers with the moral conclusion. Not with standing several complaints, it presents a gripping story with excellent acting, particularly from Mishal Khan in the role of Noor. The drama makes a lasting effect by emphasizing how devastating unchecked desire can be.
So in My opinion You Should give a Try and Must Watch this Drama.
